Security
Everything worth checking before you send money: how to recognise a real manager, where the official contacts are, what scammers look like and the rules for sending crypto safely.
The main rule
OrveX never asks for seed phrases, private keys, passwords, 2FA codes or bank card details. We never message you first and we never offer "investments". If someone does any of this in the name of OrveX, it is not OrveX.
How to tell a real manager
Scammers copy the name, the photo and the tone. One thing does not copy: how a real manager behaves.
A real manager
- Writes only after your application on the site or your own message. Never reaches out first.
- Their handle matches the contacts on this page letter for letter. The handle after @, not the display name.
- Names your application number and knows its terms without prompting.
- Confirms the rate, the amount and the payout details before any transfer, and does not change them mid-deal.
- Does not rush you and is fine with you double-checking.
A scammer
- Writes first: "your application is approved", "you have a bonus", "confirm urgently".
- The handle looks similar but differs: an extra letter, a digit, an underscore or a swapped character.
- Asks you to pay a "commission", "tax" or "insurance" before the payout is released.
- Asks you to send coins "to verify the wallet" or to a "temporary address".
- Promises income, hurries you along and moves the conversation to another chat or bot.
Three steps to check
Open the contact from a link
Reach the manager only through the links on this site, not through Telegram search and not through a link from someone else's message.
Compare the handle, not the name
A profile name and photo change in a minute. The handle after @ must match the official one letter for letter.
In doubt, ask us
Write to the official contact from this page and give your application number. A real manager will confirm or deny any conversation.
Official contacts
Only these four addresses. Everything else, including similar handles, "payout departments" and "security teams", has nothing to do with OrveX.
Manager, Russian
@orvexmanagerApplications, exchange and trade questions in Russian
Manager, English
@managerorvexApplications, exchange and trade questions in English
Access bot
@BlackSats_botIssues the access key for the cabinet. Asks for nothing else and sells nothing.
Website
orvexexchanger.comThe only address of the service. Similar domains with another zone or an extra word are not ours.
OrveX has no "signal" channels, no investment managers and no paid "statuses". Any such offer in our name is fake.
What scammers look like
Six schemes used most often against exchange customers. They are easier to recognise than they seem.
A cloned manager
What it looks like
An account with our manager's name and photo messages you first: the application is "approved", you need to "confirm the details" or "continue in another chat".
What to do
Compare the handle with this page. If it does not match letter for letter, it is not us. Block it and let us know.
A fee before the payout
What it looks like
"To receive your payout, pay the network fee, the tax or the insurance deposit." Sometimes with a fake screenshot of a "stuck" transfer.
What to do
OrveX takes no prepayments from a client: every condition is built into the rate the administrator confirms before the deal. If you are asked to pay extra, it is a scam.
Coins "for verification"
What it looks like
"Send a small amount to verify the wallet", "transfer to a temporary address and we will return it". The address, of course, belongs to someone else.
What to do
There is no such thing as a test transfer. You send crypto once, to the address from your application, and only after the administrator has confirmed.
Fake support
What it looks like
An "OrveX security team" asks for your seed phrase, private key, password or SMS code to "unlock" the cabinet or "protect" your funds.
What to do
No OrveX employee is allowed to ask for these. A seed phrase and a private key are needed only by someone who wants to take your coins.
A lookalike site or bot
What it looks like
A link to a domain with an extra letter or another zone, a bot with a handle "almost like ours". Inside, the same application form and the same design.
What to do
Compare the site address and the bot handle with the official contacts above. A bookmark to the real site is safer than any link from a messenger.
"Investments from OrveX"
What it looks like
An "OrveX manager" offers to invest your funds at a guaranteed rate, in an "arbitrage pool" or under "trust management".
What to do
OrveX exchanges crypto and invests nothing on behalf of clients. A promise of income in our name is a fraud.
Rules for sending crypto safely
Seven rules. They do not replace attention, but they close almost every mistake that costs money.
Send only after confirmation
Transfer crypto only after the administrator has confirmed the rate, the amount and the payout details. Before that, nothing is fixed.
Confirmation first, transfer second
Do not send the asset until an administrator has confirmed the application: the rate, the exact amount, the address and the network. All of it is fixed before the transfer. Large amounts go in stages, and the order is agreed in advance.
Exact amount, agreed network
Send exactly the amount and in exactly the network named in the application. Coins sent to the wrong network are usually lost.
The address only from your application
Take the address from the conversation with the official manager under your application number. Compare it in full: clipboard malware swaps the address while keeping the first characters similar.
Check the address in the registry
Before the transfer, see whether the address has any marks in the OrveX registry. It is not a blockchain check, but addresses already flagged for fraud are visible there. Check address
A transfer cannot be reversed
A blockchain transaction is irreversible: neither we, nor an exchange, nor the network's support can return it. That is why every check happens before sending, not after.
Keep the trail
Keep the application number, the transaction hash and the conversation with the manager until the exchange is complete. Never forward your access key or codes to anyone, even someone claiming to be OrveX.
If something goes wrong
You are being rushed, asked to pay extra, or you have already sent coins to the wrong place. The order of actions is the same.
Stop
Do not send anything else, do not pay "to unlock" and do not open new links. The scammer is counting on the second transfer.
Write to the official manager
Through the link on this page, with your application number. Forward the conversation with the suspicious account and the address the funds went to.
Report the fake account
Through the form on the support page. We will flag the address in the registry and warn other clients.
We cannot reverse a blockchain transfer. But the sooner you write, the better the chance of stopping the second half of the scheme and keeping it from happening to someone else.
